Bringing real-world experience to Olympia
Third-generation Blaine resident. Clinical psychologist. Elected school board director. Mom of three.
Leadership grounded in community
As a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and founder of Touchstone Counseling Group, I understand the challenges facing healthcare providers, small businesses, and working families.
Through my work, I have witnessed:
- Growing mental health needs
- Limited access to services
- Increasing barriers created by state regulations
- The challenges local businesses face simply trying to operate
After learning these issues affect not only healthcare but industries across Whatcom County, I decided to run to be your State Senator.
Olympia needs:
- Someone who is going to work for everyday people.
- An advocate for healthcare providers and mental health who understands addiction and the systemic issues around accessing counseling for youth and adults.
- Practical problem-solving.
- Fiscal responsibility. We're not seeing a return on our tax dollars — it's time to re-evaluate the programs that aren't working.
- An advocate for the business community, and someone to protect our farming community.
- Policies that consider the people of Whatcom County and make life more affordable.
Your voice matters
My job during this campaign is to listen and learn. I want to hear about the challenges facing:
- Families
- Small businesses
- Schools
- Farmers
- Workers
- Homeowners
Together, we can identify solutions that strengthen our community and create opportunities for future generations.
